So comrades, the pre-order contest is going great! Tons of you are ordering Week in Hell off of Amazon.  However, less of you are giving love to your local comics shops.

Pre-ordering Week in Hell from your local shop is important both for getting maximum distribution and because local comics shops are fucking awesome- and way more fun to visit than an Amazon warehouse.

The awesome Erika Stark wrote this primer for pre-ordering from your local store.

Don’t have one? Sign up for free at your local comic shop, just need your name (and sometimes email), and you’ll be apart of your local comic shop Pull List, in which you request titles and we order them for you straight from Diamond and place them in a nice little bundle for you to take home!

Every Wednesday is new comic day! Hooray! Usually shipments come in Tuesday with a list of everyone’s name and orders, there are also ‘Special Orders’ lists that we receive with our invoices. You can ask us to print off a copy or take a photograph along with your receipt at the front counter during purchase. :)
